Sebastian Stan Takes Over for Chris Evans in THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME

Several months back we heard that Captain America and Spider-Man were going to team up for a non-Marvel film called The Devil All the Time. Unfortunately, Chris Evans has had to leave the project due to scheduling problems and replacing him is Caps best friend Bucky Barnes, aka Sebastian Stan. Stan will be joining Tom Holland in the film which is an adaptation of the novel by Donald Ray Pollock. Antonio and Paulo Campos wrote the adaptations script and here’s a synopsis:

In a place called Knockemstiff, Ohio, a forgotten backwoods of this country – a storm of faith, violence and redemption brews. Out of desperation to save his dying wife, our protagonist Willard Russell turns to prayer which succumbs to sacrifice. His son Arvin is growing from a kid bullied at school into a man who knows when to take action. The cast of characters includes a serial killer couple, a faith-testing preacher and a corrupt local sheriff in a story told across two decades.

Holland is set to play Arvin and Stan will be the sheriff. They will be joined by Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard, and Mia Wasakowska. In addition to writing the adaptation, Antonio will also serve as the film’s director. What do you think of this switch from Evans to Stan?
