SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW Reportedly Getting a Season 2 at Marvel Studios
Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is reportedly getting a Season 2. This bit of news came from entertainment insider My Time to Shine on Twitter, who said that the project would go into development after the writers and actors strike. The news shouldn’t come as a surprise with how the first season ended.
The first season of the series was met with mixed reviews, with a lot of Marvel fans left feeling disappointed. I personally wasn’t the biggest fan of the series and thought that it could’ve been a much smarter show with a better representation of Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters. I was actually looking forward to the show because I’m a fan of a lot of the character’s comic book story arcs, but while there were some fun moments and interesting ideas, I thought the writing and storytelling were a bit of a mess.
I’m sure that the fans will be happy to hear that we may be getting a She-Hulk Season 2. This is a win for the fans of the show. For those of you who didn’t care for the She-Hulk series, well… you don’t have to watch it.
She-Hulk comic writer Dan Slott once shared his opinion on the series, saying that it’s “the most comic book accurate” series that Marvel has made. He said: “Anyone saying the @SheHulkOfficial TV show wasn't ‘comic book accurate’... I'm the guy who has written more issues of SHE-HULK than anyone. I've read every single comic from every #SheHulk run. And I'm saying, for the record, it is the MOST comic book accurate show in the MCU.”
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters “as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.”
The nine-episode series also starred Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Tim Roth as Abomination, Benedict Wong as Wong. Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Rick and Morty's Jessica Gao created the show and Kat Coiro split directing duties on the series with Anu Valia. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro and Jessica Gao.
What do you think about the possibility of She-Hulk getting a second season?
