Sigourney Weaver Will Have a Cameo in GHOSTBUSTERS Reboot
Ghostbusters reboot director Paul Feig has announced that Sigourney Weaver is the latest original cast member who will appear in the upcoming film. He tweeted the following message to his followers not long after he unleashed the fury on the reboot haters.
Gang, trying to keep surprises but this is about to leak, so I'll tell you myself: the awesome Sigourney Weaver is going to be in our movie!

There's no word on who she will exactly play, but it won't be Dana Barrett because as we've previously heard, this movie will in no way be connected to the original films. Weaver joins Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson, who have all been confirmed to have cameos in the movie.
It's cool that they are all showing their support for the reboot by appearing in it, but the fact that none of them are reprising their roles from the original film kinda takes all the fun out of it for me. I'll be honest, the fact the film is being rebooted in the first place takes all the fun out of it. But if the movie turns out to be good, I'll give it credit where credit is due.
Ghostbusters opens in theaters on July 15th, 2016.
