SKELETON CREW Character Reportedly Will Appear in Dave Filoni's STAR WARS Movie

As the first season of Skeleton Crew nears its conclusion, a rumor has surfaced about the show’s characters potentially jumping to the big screen in Dave Filoni's highly anticipated Star Wars movie.

Filoni’s untitled project is set to tie together the interconnected Disney+ series, including The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, into a grand narrative finale.

But, according to scooper Daniel Richtman, it seems Skeleton Crew will also be part of this Star Wars cinematic convergence. The crossover film could be assembling a broader roster of characters than initially anticipated, including some surprises from the galaxy's latest live-action adventure.

Of course, the big question is… which Skeleton Crew characters will make the cut? With two episodes left, we’re still unsure who will survive the series’ tumultuous events.

While the core group of kids may seem safe for now, Jude Law’s enigmatic character, Jod Na Nawood, faces a far less certain fate, but I’m sure he’ll survive.

Whether these unfolding events will impact the broader Star Wars galaxy remains unclear, but rumors suggest the final episodes of Skeleton Crew could pack some surprises.

If true, these twists might not only alter the show's trajectory but also influence how its characters integrate into Filoni's cinematic plans.

The inclusion of some of these characters from Skeleton Crew in the movie wouldn’t surprise me as it was said from the very beginning that this movie is going to be a big event that will “close out” the interconnected stories within the New Republic era shows.

The project has been described as being a “New Republic vs. Imperial Remnant” story.

When previously talking about the movie, Filoni said: “The way I look at it, there are [small] stories, and then there's the big story of the day, too.

A New Hope, [The Empire Strikes Back], and Return of the Jedi tell the important parts of the tale that really define the history of the period. There are all kinds of sub-stories underneath that. We've been building all these small stories."

He also teased the opening of the film, saying: “I will say, I have an opening I really like quite a bit, I’m very excited about it for that picture. I’m excited about the potential of just doing it.”

As we await the series finale of Skeleton Crew, we can only speculate on how Skeleton Crew will contribute to the Star Wars universe as it continues to expand.
