SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Concept Art Introduces Fans to a Few More Spider-People
The awesome new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse dropped yesterday, and it was totally epic! It was as visually stunning as the first film, and so emotionally charged, I know we are in for an amazing story. One of the coolest parts of the trailer was all the Spider-People we got to see! It was previously reported that the movie includes 240 characters, and it will take place over six different universes. So the ones we saw in the trailer are just our first taste of what’s to come.
Now we have some concept art to share with you that gives you a good look at some of these characters. First up is Hobie Brown, aka Spider-Punk, who will be voiced by Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah). Check him out:
This next piece of art features Pavitr Prabhakar, aka Spider-Man India. We don’t know who is voicing this character yet, but he looks rad:
Returning character Peter B. Parker, voiced by Jake Johnson, is wearing a baby carrier in the trailer, and that baby is none other than Mayday. In the comics, Mayday, aka May Parker, grows up to be a Spider-Woman. For now, she’s a pretty cute addition to the story.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to be released on June 2nd, 2023. The third installment, Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse, is already dated for March 29th, 2024.
