SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Set Photos Reveal Sadie Sink, Bloodied Bruce Banner, and a Possible Female Villain

The cameras are rolling again for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and with that comes another batch of exciting set photos that are already stirring up plenty of fan theories.

The latest images give us our first look at Sadie Sink in costume, a battered Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, and even a mysterious female character who could be the movie’s secret villain.

The biggest reveal from this round of set photos is Sadie Sink, who may be playing a street-level character rumored to be The Punisher’s sidekick. While Marvel hasn’t confirmed her role fans are convinced that Sink’s character will be tied to Frank Castle’s world in some way.

Then there are photos featuring Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner. Photographer @UnBoxPHD confirmed that the Avenger was being loaded into the emergency vehicle, which immediately raises questions. Why would someone who can turn into the Hulk need medical attention?

Ruffalo’s Banner looks injured in these photos, with visible wounds on his face and head. This might lend some weight to the ongoing rumor that Brand New Day will feature a “Savage Hulk” storyline. If Banner is unable to transform, it could explain why he’s suddenly vulnerable in a world where Spider-Man and the Avengers often face planet-level threats.

Another image gaining traction online shows an unidentified woman confronting a group of extras on set. Social media quickly lit up with theories that she could be the film’s mysterious female villain. But since the actress doesn’t appear to be a recognizable name, she could just be an extra involved in an action sequence.

Still, the secrecy around her appearance has fans speculating about everything from Black Cat to a new original antagonist created for the MCU.

Also spotted in earlier filming was Liza Colón-Zayas, who many believe is portraying Jean DeWolff, a well-known ally of Spider-Man in the comics. She’s seen interacting with the web-slinger in the photo.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is shaping up to be one of Marvel’s most intriguing upcoming films.
