SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Will Be Bigger and Funnier Than The First Film
I love what Marvel Studios has done with Spider-Man since he was first introduced to the MCU in Captain America: Civil War. He's had an interesting story arc and the first solo film under Marvel's direction was so freakin' good! That's going to be a hard movie to top, but director Jon Watts is obviously up for the task.
While talking to THR, Ant-Man and the Wasp editor Dan Lebental was asked about Spider-Man: Far From Home because that's his next film project. He didn't say much in regards to the story, but he did say:
"I can’t say much about the new Spider-Man but I will offer up that it will be both grander in scale and even funnier than the last one. The rest of the story will have to wait."
What we do know is that Peter Parker will be on summer vacation with his friends in Europe and that at some point he will be facing off with Mysterio.
There's a rumor that they might be changing up Mysterio's origin a bit. He will reportedly live in London as "a failed magician and actor rather than a stuntman and VFX expert." Michael Keaton also may make an appearance as Vulture again. You can read up on some additional rumored information regarding the film here.
Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters July 5, 2019. I'm excited to see what Spider-Man's next adventure will entail!
