Spock is Confirmed to Appear in Season 2 of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY
It is official! Spock will be appearing in season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery. Jonathan Frakes had previously said that a young Spock would be in an episode that he directs. Now showrunner Alex Kurtzman has said, “I can tell you that, yes, you will be seeing Spock this season.” There’s still no word on who will be playing Spock, but an actor has been cast in the role.
Some may remember that at the end of the first season, the Discovery received a distress call from the USS Enterprise with Captain Christopher Pike, under whom Spock serves as a science officer. Captain Pike will be played by Anson Mount.
