Stan Lee Shares His Thoughts on Marvel Getting the Rights Back To X-Men and Fantastic Four
A few months ago, Stan Lee actually predicted that we would see Marvel get the rights back X-Men and Fantastic Four. During the Wizard World convention in Nashville, Lee had this to say:
"Sooner or later, they're going to get the rights back to all our characters. They're working on it, and they're still making X-Men movies and stuff. Don't worry about it. You'll get more Marvel superheroes than you'll have time to look at in the next few years."
Things seemed to move pretty fast after that statement and all of a sudden it's a done deal! In case you're wondering what Stan Lee thinks about Marvel getting all these properties back, he told Newsarama:
"A truly great piece of news! Now characters such as the X-Men and the Fantastic Four can come home to the place where they belong. It’s vitally important to have the Marvel characters under one roof. And now, as great as they were before, I can’t wait to see the wonders that will unfold!”
The fans of these characters feel the exact same way! It's going to be really cool to see what Kevin Feige and his creative team end up doing with these characters that they've never had a chance to play with before.
We've seen what changes can come with their vision of Spider-Man, and it's going to be so freakin' cool to see how they handle these other characters like Wolverine, Silver Surfer, The Fantastic Four, and the rest of the X-Men characters.
There are so many different things that I want from this and I can't wait to see what ends up being developed. We'll have to wait until after Avengers 4 is released before we even start to get an idea of what Marvel Studios is planning.
