STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY Series Gets The Green Light From Paramount+
Paramount+ is officially moving forward with its new Star Trek series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, a project that was announced to be in development last year.
The series will follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. The series will introduce us to “a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they will discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself.”
I was actually pretty excited about the concept of this series when it was first announced, so I’m happy to see that it’s actually moving forward! The series comes from Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, Roddenberry Entertainment and CBS Studios. The first episode of the series is being written by Gaia Violo, and it will begin production in 2024.

This is going to make for a great series! Star Trek is killing it with their shows right now, and I imagine this is going to be just as good as the stuff that is currently being developed for the franchise.
