STAR WARS: AHSOKA's Baylan Skoll Reveals Official Name of New Jedi Trained After the Order Fell

In the most recent, sixth, episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka, “Far, Far, Away,” Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) revealed the official name of what they call new Jedi warriors who were trained after the fall of the Jedi Order and the Republic.

This is just an interesting tidbit of information to store in your Star Wars memory banks. These Jedi are known as "Bokken Jedi."

In the episode, Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno) are on the planet of Peridea in a distant galaxy, where both Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) and Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) have been stranded for years.

After Sabine Wren is sent out to track down Ezra, Baylan and Shin are ordered to follow her with the mission to kill the Rebels’ heroes. While they are tracking them, Baylan explains to Shin who Ezra actually is, and refers to the character as a "Bokken Jedi," who was "trained in the wild" after the Order fell.

Some other characters that are considered Boken Jedi include Luke Skywalker, Sabine Wren, Cal Kestis from the Star Wars Jedi game franchise, and of course, Grogu. I’m sure there are more of them out there, and now they have a solid official term.
