STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW Creators Tease Their Plans for Season 2
The first season ofStar Wars: Skeleton Crew was a ton of fun! I loved the child-like wonder and adventure of the whole thing. I have no idea if Lucasfilm will get to make a second Season 2, but creators Jon Watts and Christopher Ford do have ideas for the next chapter of the story.
They recently teased their plans for Season 2 in an interview with TV Line, with Watts saying: “We know exactly what we would want to show, we have figured all of that out.”
With the secret planet At Attin no longer a secret and The Supervisor having been destroyed by Jude Law’s Jod Na Nawood, its residents will be forced to shed themselves of the isolationism that had dictated their lives for generations.
As Ford explained: “What’s so fun about it is At Atiin has lost its protective nest, its childhood. The planet gets to be an awkward teenager.”
On their adventure, Wim, Fern, KB and Neel learned about the wider Star Wars galaxy and now their parents will have to got through the shock of learning about what life is like outsideAt Attin.
Watts added: “The parents now have to grow up, which is an interesting wrinkle to the concept we explored in the first season.”
I would like to see Watts and his team get to continue to explore At Attin and this corner of the Star Wars universe, but we’ll just have to wait and see if Disney gives Lucasfilm the greenlight for Season 2.
