Stephen King Authorizes THE STAND Short Story Anthology Novel END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT

Stephen King’s epic post-apocalyptic novel The Stand is getting a short story anthology book titled The End of the World As We Know It: New Tales of Stephen King’s The Stand, and it’s officially been authorized by King.

This book is an 800-page collection consisting of 34 all-new stories that are set during and after the events of The Stand. The book is edited by award-winning authors Christopher Golden and Brian Keene, who wrote the forward and the afterword.

King wrote an introduction for the book. It includes stories by Wayne Brady, Maurice Broaddus, C. Robert Cargill, Paul Tremblay, Richard Chizmar, Catherynne M. Valente, Joe R. Lansdale, Caroline Kepnes, Josh Malerman, Tananarive Due & Steven BarnesGabino Iglesias, and David J. Schow.

Other contributors include Poppy Z. Brite, Somer Canon, Nat Cassidy, V. Castro, S.A. Cosby, Meg Gardiner, Jonathan Janz, Alma Katsu, Michael Koryta, Sarah Langan, Tim Lebbon, Ronald Malfi, Usman T. Malik, Premee Mohamed, Cynthia Pelayo, Hailey Piper, Alex Segura, Bryan Smith, Bev Vincent, Catriona Ward, Chuck Wendig, Wrath James White, and Rio Youers.
