Steven Yeun Is Voicing 18 More Characters in INVINCIBLE, and It’s as Wild as It Sounds
If you thought Invincible was already throwing everything it had at Mark Grayson, buckle up because Steven Yeun just got an 18-role upgrade.
The official Invincible X account recently dropped the news that Yeun, who has been the voice of Mark since day one, is now playing 18 additional characters in the next episode.
These new characters are all Mark variants, alternate versions of our hero from across the multiverse, introduced at the end of Episode 6.
They’ve been working with Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown), a villain whose whole deal is hopping between realities. Now, Episode 7 is making good on that ominous setup.
The list of Yeun’s Mark variants include: Capevincible, Sportvincible, Prisonincible, Nogogglesible, Flaxancible, Movincihawk, Hairvincible, Gogglesvincible, Capvincible, Nomaskible, Maskvincible, Mustachible, Hoodvincible, Omnivincible, Viltrumincible, Bulletproofible, Lightblueincible, and Stripevincible.
That’s a lot of Marks.
Yeun has voiced alternate Marks before as season two already dipped into the multiverse, but this time, it’s a full-scale invasion. Each variant is going to have a real impact on the episode, and considering how powerful just one Mark can be, it’s safe to say things are about to get completely out of control.
Can Mark handle a small army of himself? While we wait for the chaos to unfold, you can also catch Yeun in Bong Joon Ho’s upcoming sci-fi film Mickey 17, hitting theaters this week.
