STRANGER THINGS Actor Joseph Quinn to Star in New War Movie From Director Alex Garland
After scoring the big role of Johnny Storm in Marvel’s The Fantastic 4, Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn has jumped on board an untitled war movie that is set up at A24. That movie will be co-directed by Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza. Charles Melton is also on board to star.
Garland and Mendoza previously worked together on the upcoming film Civil War, where Mendoza served as the military supervisor. The two obviously had a great experience working with each other because not only are they co-directing, but the pair also co-wrote the script.
There are no details to share in regard to the story, but knowing the kind of films that Garland makes, it going to be an interesting one. It will also obviously have a heavy military theme with Mendoza’s heavy involvement in the project.
Quinn’s acting career has really taken off since he took on the role of Eddie Munson in the most recent season of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things. This should be a great new role for him to take on. He’s also set to appear in A Quiet Place: Day One, and he is playing one of the twin Emperors in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator sequel.
