STREET FIGHTER’s Hair-Raising Guile Popcorn Bucket Is Absolutely Ridiculous
Some movie collectibles are designed to sit proudly on a shelf. Others are designed to be worn on your head while you eat popcorn off of your own head. The upcoming Street Fighter movie has apparently chosen option two.
The latest piece of promotional madness tied to the 2026 video game adaptation is a Guile popcorn bucket modeled after his enormous, gravity-defying blonde hair.
It’s kinda ridiculous, obnoxious, completely impractical, and exactly the kind of movie theater collectible that Street Fighter fans are going to want.
AMC Theatres showed off the bucket with Cody Rhodes, who plays Guile in the film, alongside co-stars Callina Liang and Noah Centineo. Rhodes naturally gets the honor of wearing the thing, and because the bucket resembles Guile’s hairstyle, it actually works surprisingly well sitting on top of his head.
Of course, things get even better once Centineo starts eating popcorn from it and says: “I swear to God it tastes better because it's coming out of Cody's head.”
That may be the finest possible endorsement for a popcorn bucket. The promo also gives fans a goofy little taste of the chemistry between the cast, with Rhodes, Liang, and Centineo having fun with a piece of merchandise that already sells itself through sheer absurdity.
Street Fighter will feature Andrew Koji as Ryu, including the darker version of the character teased in the trailers, Jason Momoa bringing Blanka’s electric fury to the big screen, Liang as the dangerous Chun-Li, and Rhodes sporting Guile’s unmistakable blonde hair.
We still haven’t gotten nearly enough Guile action or Sonic Booms in the trailers, but apparently we can put his hair on our heads filled with popcorn. I’ll take the temporary victory.
There is one potential problem here. Anyone brave enough to actually wear this Street Fighter Guile popcorn bucket during the movie could become an instant nightmare for whoever is sitting behind them. Guile’s hair isn’t exactly designed with unobstructed theater sightlines in mind.
