Stunning New Trailer for Sony's Samurai Game GHOST OF TSUSHIMA
Sony premiered a new trailer for its upcoming Samurai game Ghost of Tsushima, and it looks incredible! As you’ll see, the game is visually stunning, and it looks like it tells a fantastic story. The game was created by Sucker Punch Productions, and they have delivered something truly impressive. For all you gamers who are fans of samurai and martial arts films, you’re gonna love this.
The story is set on on Tsushima Island in 1274, and the game revolves around the last samurai, Jin Sakai (Daisuke Tsuji), “during the first Mongol invasion of Japan. Jin will have to master a new fighting style, the way of the Ghost, to defeat the Mongol Empire and fight for the freedom and independence of Japan.”
There was a demo that was previously released which you can check out here. When previously talking about the game, Sucker Punch game director Nate Fox said:
"Seriously, how come no one has made a sprawling samurai open-world game yet? Feudal Japan is beautiful; from the swaying bamboo forests to the ornate castles, it’s a place that demands to be explored.
"I’ve been a fan of samurai comics since 5th grade, from ‘Lone Wolf and Cub’ to ‘Usagi Yojimbo. The types of characters, landscapes, betrayal, and sacrifice in those stories are a rich vein ready to be translated into a video game."
Ghost of Tsushima will debut in the Summer of 2020, and I can’t wait to play it!
