Super Exciting New Trailer for GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE!
Oh, boy! Here we go! Sony Pictures has dropped a brand new full trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and this thing is loaded with lots of super exciting new footage that is going to get fans pumped up for the sequel! There are are lot of great callbacks to the original film, and it looks like the original Ghostbusting team is actually going to have a much bigger role to play in this next chapter of the story! We even get some great Dr. Venkman one-liners from Bill Murray! Damn… this movie is going to be a blast!
In the story, New York City finds itself freezing over due to an ancient artifact that unleashes an evil force! Also, the original Ghostbusters return! Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson are all back for the new adventure! The synopsis reads:
In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife director and co-writer Jason Reitman serves as writer and executive producer on the new film. The movie also stars Patton Oswalt, Kumail Nanjiani, comedian James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind have joined the cast! They join returning cast members Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace. Dan Ackroyd and Ernie Hudson are also back in action with Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz suiting up for some ghost-busting action.
The film is scheduled to be released on March 29th, 2024.
