Superman vs. Wonder Woman in JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL Storyboard Art
Earlier today we posted some extremely cool concept art from George Miller's defunct Justice League: Mortal film featuring Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter. We now have some storyboard art that was done for the film featuring an epic fight sequence between Superman (D.J. Cotrona) and Wonder Woman (Megan Gale). The storyboards were posted by Steve Skroce, the artist who created them.
In case you're wondering why these two heroes are fighting each other, it's because Superman was under control of the film's villain Maxwell Lord, who would have been played by Jay Baruchel. This is what the artist has to say:
"I'm seeing a lot of art from the cancelled George Miller Justice League film so here's a few boards that I did for the film. It was incredibly fun drawing the DC comics characters which I hadn't had the opportunity to do until then. It's Wonder Woman versus Superman ( they have their reasons, mind control!)"
The more that I see from the production of this film, the more I wish it would have been made. It's a shame that it never happened.
