Sydney Sweeney Reportedly Offered The Role of Black Cat In SPIDER-MAN 4

Sydney Sweeney is back in the superhero movie news cycle as she has reportedly been offered the role of Black Cat in Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man 4.

This rumor originated from inside scooper My Time To Shine Hello, but this has not been confirmed by either of the studios.

We have no idea if this is true or not, but Sweeney has already appeared in Sony’s Marvel movie Madame Web, which crashed and burned hard with critics and audiences at the box office.

It’s safe to say that we’ll never see a sequel to that movie, but it would make sense that Sweeney would want to continue to play in the Marvel universe. To do that, she would have to be cast in a different role.

There are also previous reports that she has had talks with Marvel Studios about playing another character and Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat might be that character.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this rumor turned out to be true, I mean anything is possible at this point, and with Sweeney being a very popular and rising star in Hollywood, if Marvel wants to lock her in for the film, now is the time.
