Taylor Sheridan’s LIONESS Officially Renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+
Paramount+ has officially locked in another round of high-stakes espionage with the renewal of Lioness for Season 3. The news arrives nearly a year after Season 2 premiered in October 2024.
The series, created by Taylor Sheridan, has quickly become one of the standout dramas on the streaming service, fueled by a powerhouse cast led by Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill and Hannah Love Lanier.
For those who might need a refresher, the Season 2 logline teased how deeply the CIA’s covert program was forced to adapt:
“The CIA’s fight against terror moved closer to home. Joe (Saldaña), Kaitlyn (Kidman), and Byron (Kelly) enlisted a new Lioness operative to infiltrate a previously unknown threat. With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe was forced to confront the profound personal sacrifices she made as the leader of the Lioness program.”
Lioness is only one piece of Sheridan’s massive slate at Paramount+. The prolific creator continues to juggle an impressive lineup that includes the upcoming Season 2 of Landman in November, Season 4 of Mayor of Kingstown arriving in October, and Season 3 of Tulsa King, which dropped on September 21.
On top of that, he has The Madison, a new Yellowstone spinoff awaiting a release date, and he’s also gearing up for the historical prequel 1944.
Fans of Sheridan’s gritty storytelling and spy-thriller intensity can look forward to more political intrigue, personal drama, and explosive missions when Lioness Season 3 makes its debut on Paramount+.
