Promo Teaser For AMC's THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON Starring Norman Reedus
AMC has released a teaser trailer for one of the many Walking Dead spinoff shows in development. This is for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which obviously centers on the fan-favorite Norman Reedus character. There’s not much footage to share as the show recently went into production but it does feature a bit of footage, some of which is from the set of the series.
The series is “Set after the series conclusion of TWD, the Reedus-led offshoot finds the zombie apocalypse fan favorite transported across the Atlantic to France and a whole new level of a world gone mad. Poesy will play the female lead Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Daryl on a journey across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris. Nagaitis protrays Quinn, a displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub.”
The series also stars Anne Charrier (The Last Deadly Mission), Eriq Ebanouey (Fox Hunt), Laika Blanc Francard (My Night), Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, and Romain Levi (The Tunnel). It also stars Clémence Poésy (The Essex Serpent) and Adam Nagaitis (Chernobyl).
David Zabel will serve as showrunner for the Daryl Dixon series. There’s no word on when it will be released.
