Teaser Trailer For MALCOM IN THE MIDDLE: LIFE'S STILL UNFAIR Confirms 2026 Release
Fans of the classic sitcom, Malcom in the Middle, have been waiting a long time to see the Wilkersons back in action and now it is officially happening.
Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ will debut the revival series Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair in 2026. Disney rolled out the first teaser and it instantly taps into the chaotic energy that made the original show a favorite for so many viewers.
There’s no exact premiere date yet but the new footage makes it clear that the Wilkerson universe has not mellowed with age.
The teaser wastes no time throwing audiences into familiar territory. It pays tribute to the unforgettable moment when Lois played by Jane Kaczmarek shaved Hal’s back in the kitchen while Bryan Cranston delivered his signature deadpan panic.
It’s fun to see a modern recreation of that dynamic and confirms that the series still understands what made the original tick.
Nearly the entire main cast is back for this new four episode run. That includes Kaczmarek, Cranston, Frankie Muniz, Chris Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Emy Coligado.
As previously shared, Caleb Ellsworth Clark steps into the role of Dewey. The revival also brings in fresh faces with Keeley Karsten, Vaughan Murrae, and Kiana Madeira.
The official logline reads, “After shielding himself and his daughter (Karsten) from his family for over a decade, Malcolm is dragged back into their orbit when Hal and Lois demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.”
The creative team behind the new series includes Linwood Boomer, creator of the original show, as writer and executive producer. Ken Kwapis directs all four episodes and executive produces as well.
This is sure to be a fun and chaotic revival. It’s something that Cranston and Muniz have been trying to make happen for years!
