TED LASSO's Hannah Waddingham Joins MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART TWO
Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 2 is currently in production, and it recently shot some scenes on the supercarrier the USS George H.W. Bush. Now, writer and director Christopher McQuarrie has announced that Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham has joined the cast and he shared a photo of her from the set of the film at the supercarrier.
The photo came with the caption, “#GodSpeed #DeadReckoning.” There no word on who exactly she’s playing, but judging from the photo of her looking stoic, it looks like she is a person in a leadership position that wields a good amount of power.
Waddingham joins Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny along with newcomers Shea Whigham (Joker), Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War) and Esai Morales (La Bamba, Titans), Charles Parnell, Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Mark Gatiss, and Cary Elwes (Saw). Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Janet McTeer (Tumbleweeds, Albert Nobbs), and Holt McCallany (Mindhunter, Nightmare Alley).
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Part Two will be released on July 14th, 2023, and June 28th, 2024. You can watch the teaser trailer for the movie here.
