THE BATMAN Will Drop on HBO Max Next Week!

Warner Bros. isn’t waiting very long to drop Matt ReevesThe Batman on HBO Max. In fact, you will be able to watch the movie on the streaming service next week on April 18th! That’s pretty crazy,

I remember the days when we had to wait what seemed like forever before we saw a movie released on Home Entertainment. Those were the days of VHS tapes and DVDs. Now, there’s hardly any wait at all and all you need is a streaming service subscription.

The Batman was such an awesome film, and Reeves and his creative team did an incredible job telling the story they set out to tell. I’m excited to see them grow and expand this version of Batman and Gotham City in the upcoming shows and sequels being developed.

As of right now, the two projects that are moving forward right now include The Penguin spinoff series with Colin Farrell and then there’s the series that will be set in Arkham Asylum. I’m confident that all the Batman projects Reeves and his team are working on are going to deliver more greatness.

In The Batman: Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman (Robert Pattinson), striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies — Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Lt. James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) — amongst the city's corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens.

When a killer targets Gotham's elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World's Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler (Paul Dano). As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator's plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.

Are you excited about The Batman coming to HBO Max next week? Are there any of you that haven’t even watched the movie yet?
