THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Star Temuera Morrison Still Hasn't Heard Anything About a Season 2
A year ago, we reported that the Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett Season 2 was in production at Disney+, but it’s been nothing but crickets since then. When the first season was released in 2021, it was thought of as a limited series, but after a solid viewership, and stars like Ming-Na Wen, who plays bounty hunter Fennec Shand, voicing her hope to return to the role, it seemed like a second season was absolutely on the horizon.
But it’s a year later, and even the show’s title character star, Temuera Morrison, says he hasn’t heard anything about the show’s return.
Morrison said in an interview with Newshub:
"No word yet. I don't even know if there is going to be a Season 2. I don't know what's going on. We're coming out of this downtime period so I think everyone is settling back in and it all goes back to budgets and what they want to do and how much everything costs. I really don't know. Judging by the fans I've met, they all want a Season 2 of Boba Fett, but I don't know what's going to happen."
The first season of The Book of Boba Fett tells “a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian, [which] finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”
Are you hoping for a second season of the series?
