THE CONJURING: LAST RITES Has Started Shooting and James Wan Shares Set Photo From Final Film
The Conjuring: Last Rite has started production and this is going to be the fourth and final movie in the hit horror franchise. Creator and director James Wan has marked the occasion with a photo from the set and a heartfelt comment on social media.
On his Instagram account, the Wan shared a photo of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga's chairs on set, which read "Ed Warren" and "Lorraine Warren" respectively.
The photo came with the note: "Always good to see and hang out with old friends. Gonna miss everyone. End of an era.”
The movie is being directed by Michael Chaves, who also helmed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and The Nun II.
David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote the third installment with Wan, wrote the screenplay for the film, and Wan is producing with Peter Safran.
There are no story details to share, but the story will once again put a focus on supernatural investigators Ed and Lorrain Warren and one of their creepy investigations.
I’m curious to find out what supernatural case from the Warrens this next movie will be based on. I just hope they end the franchise with an incredible and scary horror movie!
