The DETECTIVE PIKACHU Trailer Gets a Funny Remix With the Voice of Conspiracy Theorist Alex Jones
Earlier this week the first trailer for Detective Pikachu dropped, and fans seemed to be split on how they feel about it. Some people thought it looked better than they were expecting and are excited to see it, while others couldn’t care less.
I think Ryan Reynolds is a solid choice to provide the voice of Pikachu, but others don’t think that it works. For those of you looking for something a little different and more rough, video editor and YouTuber Dolan Dark has created a remix of the trailer that features the voice of well-known conspiracy theorist Alex Jones as Pikachu.
The results are pretty hilarious and, as you might expect, psychotic, because this is Alex Jones we’re talking about here. He was banned from both Twitter and Facebook because of his vile comments.
If you’re not familiar with Jones, he has talked about how he believes that 9-11 attacks were an inside job. He also claims that the Sandy Hook massacre was orchestrated by the U.S. government using actors and has harassed the families of the victims. That doesn’t even scratch the surface of the how this guy thinks.
Anyway, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu opens in theaters on May 10th, 2019. Enjoy the remixed trailer below!
