Sony Pictures recently showed off the first footage of director Antoine Fuqua and Denzel Washington’s highly anticipated sequel, The Equalizer 3 and if you’re a fan of the first two movies, you’re going to like what’s in store for this next one! Antoine Fuqua previously talked about what we can expect from the movie, saying: “Hopefully, reveal a little more about Robert. Yeah, I think that's the key, to learn more about Robert McCall. We're shooting it in Italy, so that'd be fun. We're going to scout now. Sardinia, probably show up somewhere up the Amalfi Coast. Also, trying to find some small villages, seaside villages, things like that, and then we'll be in Sicily and Naples.”
Dakota Fanning (I Am Sam, The Secret Life of Bees, The Alienist) is also starring in the film alongside Washington.
The Equalizer 3 is set to hit theaters on September 1, 2023.
