The Final Barriers to Disney's Acquisition of Fox are Being Overcome
Some of the last hurdles for Disney to jump over to finish their acquisition of 21st Century Fox have been Brazil and Mexico. Both countries have had concerns about the Mouse House having too many sports networks in the two markets. This was also a concern in the United States, but Disney quickly agreed to sell the 22 regional sports networks owned by Fox. Now, it appears that Disney has decided to make the same decision for Brazil and Mexico. According to a report from Bloomberg, Disney has decided to sell the sports networks causing problems after Bob Iger failed to get a better deal when he flew to Brazil a few weeks ago. It looks like everything is coming together to have the deal finalized by the end of the year.
