THE FLASH Director Shared Early Storyboard of Batman in Wild Chase Sequence

The Flash director Andy Muschietti recently shared some early storyboard art that was created for the movie and it features a wild-looking chase sequence involving Batman.

In the art, Batman is holding onto a rope that’s attached to a car, he then bounces off of an oncoming car. The bounce is accompanied by a “shpoonk” sound effect. I hope the “shpoonk!” bubble appears in the movie! I believe we’ve seen part of this sequence in the trailer for the movie.

I love that this storyboard art is drawn with a pen on lined paper in a note book! The vision of this sequence was born in this most basic form, and when we watch it in the movie, it’s going to be awesome to see in its full finished glory!

James Gunn called The Flash “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.” It’s also been confirmed that this movie is going to unlock DC Studios’ first phase of films, known as Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters.

Miller will be joined by Michael Keaton as Batman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Sasha Calle as Supergirl, along with Ron Livingston and Maribel Verdú who are playing Barry’s parents. Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Derry Girls) and internet personality Rudy Mancuso have also been cast in undisclosed roles. It also stars Kiersey Clemons as Iris West. The Flash will be released on June 23rd, 2023.
