The Force is Strong With This Epic STAR WARS: VISIONS Volume 3 Trailer
Lucasfilm has unleashed the trailer for Star Wars: Visions Volume 3, and I couldn’t be more excited about this! It looks absolutely stunning. The footage is packed with breathtaking action, bold visuals, and even a lightsaber gauntlet-wielding Twi’lek!
For this third installment, Lucasfilm and Disney+ have once again brought together a powerhouse of global animation talent, but this time the spotlight is fully on Japanese studios.
The lineup includes nine incredible anime houses: david production, Kamikaze Douga + ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G, Project Studio Q, TRIGGER, and WIT STUDIO. That’s a seriously stacked roster guaranteed to deliver wildly unique visions of the galaxy far, far away.
On top of the visuals, the series also revealed its dub cast, which is loaded with fan-favorite talent. The voices include Anna Sawai (Shōgun), Freddie Highmore (Bates Motel), George Takei (Star Trek), Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows), Jodie Turner-Smith (The Acolyte), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once), and Steve Buscemi (Wednesday).
I love this animated series because its a perfect mix of Star Wars storytelling with the bold artistic creativity of anime, and it looks like Volume 3 is going to take the series to another level.
Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 lands on Disney+ October 29. Until then, watch the new trailer below and check out the breakdown of the shorts along with the original and dub cast lists.
