The Latest EVIL DEAD BURN Trailer Is Pure Nightmare Fuel

Evil Dead Burn already looked like it was going to be a viciously twisted addition to the legendary horror franchise with the first trailer that was released, but Warner Bros. has just dropped another "Get Your Tickets" promo trailer and this thing is absolutely unhinged!

With only a few weeks left before the film hits theaters, the latest footage cranks everything up several notches and offers a fresh glimpse at what could end up being one of the nastiest entries the Evil Dead series has ever delivered.

The trailer is packed with grotesque imagery, relentless terror, gallons of blood, and the kind of disturbing Deadite chaos that fans of the franchise live for.

This new chapter comes from Sébastien Vanicek, the French filmmaker who caught the attention of Sam Raimi with his creepy-crawly horror hit Infested. Raimi was clearly impressed enough to hand Vanicek the keys to one of horror's most beloved franchises, and based on everything we've seen so far, that decision looks like a very good one.

Vanicek has already shared exactly what he's hoping audiences experience when they sit down for the movie. He wanted to "create a visceral, sensory experience that punches the audience in the gut. I want people to feel physically drained when they leave the theater, like they've been through an emotional and intense journey."

Judging by this latest trailer, he may very well accomplish that goal. The story centers on a grieving woman who heads to her in-laws' remote family home after the loss of her husband.

What should have been a chance to find comfort quickly spirals into a waking nightmare. One by one, her relatives are transformed into Deadites, turning a family gathering into something far more horrifying.

The official synopsis reads: "After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. As one by one they are transformed into Deadites—turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell. She comes to discover the vows she took in life... live on even in death."

Taking the horror into an intimate family setting while unleashing demonic possession and body horror sounds like a recipe for absolute carnage.

The cast includes Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Errol Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink.

The screenplay was written by Florent Bernard and Vanicek, based on the characters created by Raimi. The film is produced by Raimi and Rob Tapert, with New Line Cinema, Screen Gems, and Ghost House Pictures backing the project.

The full trailer and teaser were already fantastic, but this latest promo pushes things into another realm entirely. Every new piece of footage makes the movie look more intense, more disgusting, and more completely insane.

It feels like Evil Dead Burn is aiming straight for the savage spirit that made the original films such horror classics.

We'll find out just how far Vanicek is willing to go when Evil Dead Burn storms into theaters nationwide on July 10, 2026.
