The Netflix Marvel Shows Have Been Confirmed to Be Canon to the MCU

Not long after a Marvel Studios Executive said he believed that the Marvel Netflix shows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and Luke Cage were all canon to the MCU, Marvel confirmed it!

There’s a “Timeline Order” on Disney+ for every Marvel Studios production in the Marvel section. This timeline features each canon film and series in the chronological order that they take place in the MCU. Those shows now appear on this list.

Daredevil and Jessica Jones take place between Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Defenders are set between Ant-Man and Captain America: Civil War. Then there’s the Punisher series, which takes place after Spider-Man: Homecoming and before Doctor Strange.

It’s great to see Marvel is finally officially including these shows into the MCU timeline.
