The New CHARLIE'S ANGELS Movie Will Feature More Than Three Angels

Some interesting new information has surfaced regarding Elizabeth Banks’ upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot. Not long ago we learned that Kristen StewartNaomi Scott (Aladdin, Power Rangers) and Ella Balinska (Midsomer Murders) were set to star in the movie as the three main Angel’s but according to Stewart there are going to be more than three. In fact, there’s going to be a whole world wide network of Angels!

While taking to Variety, the actress said that “It’s kind of like a ‘woke’ version” and explains that “there’s a kitsch nature to the last ones that was super fun. But nowadays, if you see a woman in combat, everything should be completely and utterly within their ability.”

She then adds that there’s a “whole network of angels. It’s not just three. Women across the entire globe are connected and helping each other.”

This is definitely going to be a different take on Charlie’s Angels and I’m curious to see what Banks ends up doing with it. I can’t say that I’m a fan of the cast, but there’s still a chance it could turn out to be a good film, especially with Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard writing the script. They are the writers and producers of the awesome Netflix series Narcos. The fact that they are involved gives me hope.

What are your thoughts on the direction of the new Charlie’s Angels movie and the inclusion of a world wide network of Angels?
