THE NEW MUTANTS Rumored to Be Delayed Again and It Could End Up Being Released on HULU
Regardless of its behind the scenes troubles, I’ve actually been pretty excited about seeing Josh Boone’s horror-themed X-Men movie The New Mutants.
The film was originally supposed to be released on April 13th, 2018. It was then pushed to February 22nd of this year. Then it was pushed back again to August 2nd, so that they could reportedly reshoot certain aspects of the film to make it scarier and a full-fledged horror movie.
Now a new rumor has surfaced from Scott Bechtel of “Merc With a Podcast” saying that Fox and the director were struggling coming to terms with the final cut. So now the film may not be released until later in the fall, and there’s a chance that it might end up just popping up on Hulu.
Just heard a whisper through the grapevine. #newmutants will be delayed again. Fox & Boone are really struggling coming to terms on a comprehensible and finish product. They're looking to release it in early November. But...

Fox is still toying with a Hulu release in October for #newmutants. They're trying to decide which method would have a more returnable value for an otherwise dead on arrival film.

This’s a shame to hear. I liked what I saw in the initial trailer that was released, but it looks like things might actually be going through some heavy behind the scenes drama. I hope this movie doesn’t end up being a Marvel movie turd! There’s so much potential!
I’ve got a new photo from the film above that offers us a new look at Anya Taylor-Joy’s Magik, as well as Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane, Henry Zaga as Sunspot, and Blu Hunt as fallen Mirage.
When talking about her character recently, Taylor-Joy described Magik as "a bad ass bitch from Hell."

At least one member of the cast still seems excited about the movie!
"Held in a secret facility against their will, five new mutants have to battle the dangers of their powers, as well as the sins of their past. They aren’t out to save the world — they’re just trying to save themselves."
Are you excited to see how The New Mutants turns out? Or are all these rumors surrounding the production killing the buzz?
