THE OUTER WORLDS Gets New Release Date for the Nintendo Switch in June
A couple of months ago, we learned that the Nintendo Switch release of The Outer Worlds from Obsidian Entertainment was delayed, but we were getting a physical version as well as a digital one. Now, we have a new release date for the Switch version and a note from Obsidian about the physical release:
The retail version The Outer Worlds comes on a physical cartridge, and it will be accompanied by a day one patch that could be up to 6 GB. This patch will optimize gameplay, provide additional hi-res textures, and include other fixes to provide the employees of Halcyon with the best gameplay experience.
Both the digital and physical copies of the game will be available on June 5 for $59.99. I personally loved playing this game on PC, so I’m excited to be able to take the game on the go.
