THE SIMPSONS: TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XXXIV Details Confirms a SILENCE OF THE LAMBS Spoof
We’re deep into the Halloween season and The Simpsons is getting ready to unleash Treehouse of Horror XXXIV. I’ve always enjoyed these Treehouse of Horrors Halloween specials, and the official synopsis for this upcoming Halloween special has been revealed.
In Treehouse of Horror XXXIV, “Bart is turned into an NFT and Marge must fight through the Blockchain to rescue him; Lisa turns to a murderer from her past; an outbreak transforms Springfielders into a plague of lazy, beer-loving oafs.”
Then there’s another segment that is a spoof on the 1991 classic Silence of the Lambs, and it sees “Lisa turns to a murderer from her past.”
Treehouse of Horror XXXIV isn’t scheduled to premiere until November 5, 2023, which is days after the end of the Halloween season, which doesn’t seem to make sense… but, whatever. It will just keep the Halloween season alive for a little longer.
