The SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Movie Has a Release Date

It’s a little weird to think that Sonic the Hedgehog is being made into a movie. For those unfamiliar with him, he’s a blue hedgehog who is super-fast. Oh, and he likes chili dogs. He originally came to us in video games with his friends where you try to defeat the evil Doctor Eggman, and over the years he’s had several animated TV series. Several months ago, we heard that Paramount Pictures was working on plans to adapt everyone’s favorite blue hedgehog into a film, and we recently got the confirmation that this is indeed happening. Not only is this happening, it’s already got a release date. Sonic the Hedgehog is currently slated for a release on November 15, 2019! No details about the plot have been revealed yet, but I’m sure it’ll have something to do with running around Green Hill Zone and stopping Doctor Eggman. I’m actually pretty excited about this. As a kid, I enjoyed the original animated series as well as Sonic Underground. I’m sure this will be a great way for parents to introduce this little speed demon to their children, too.
