There's an AMERICAN HORROR STORY Spinoff Series in Development

Ryan Murphy recently announced during a zoom call with the cast members of American Horror Story that he is developing a “one hour contained” series spinoff of his FX horror anthology, which will be titled American Horror Stories.

All we really know about the spinoff right now is that each episode will tell its own individual ghost story, and it will most likely feature familiar players from the main show.

During the call, Murphy says that he and the cast, which included Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, and more, “reminisced about the good times…the spin off we’re doing called “American Horror Stories” (one hour contained episodes)…when we will start filming the next season of the mothership…and other stuff I cannot print. It was so much fun and I’m glad we caught up. I miss everyone!”

A few months ago FX announced that they had renewed American Horror Story for three more seasons. And not long ago Murphy revealed the cast of the upcoming tenth season with a video he shared, which included Macaulay Culkin.

Murphy obviously has a lot of horror stories that he wants to tell that can’t be contained in one anthology series, so he needed to create another! Are you excited about that!?
