These Theatrical Posters For the Live-Action BLEACH Film are Dope

We just got an awesome trailer for the live-action adaptation of Bleach. We also got some cool character posters (where’s Chad though?). There’s one more thing we got recently: two theatrical posters. They look pretty cool, too. The first has a white background, Ichigo in his Soul Reaper getup, and Rukia in a school uniform. The other is the reverse. A black background with Ichigo in his school uniform and Rukia in her Soul Reaper clothes. The posters look great, especially with the hollow in the background.

The story focuses on Ichigo Kurosaki, who has the ability to see spirits. He soon obtains the power of a Soul Reaper, who is meant to usher lost souls to the afterlife, and now has the duty to defend the living world from monstrous dark spirits known as Hollows.

If you want to get caught up before the film comes out in Japan (hopefully a western release will be announced), I would recommend watching the first season as I imagine that is one of two stopping points for the film (my other guess is episode 17). I know a lot of people are worried this is going to suck (I’m worried too), but so far, I am really hyped and think it could do great. Here’s hoping I don’t eat those words later.

Bleach will hit Japanese theaters on July 20, 2018.
