This Video Takes You Behind-The-Scenes of GODZILLA MINUS ONE
If you’re a fan of Godzilla Minus One, I’ve got a making of video here for you to watch that takes you behind the scenes of the epic Kaiju movie. It offers a interesting little glimpse at what went into creating this $10 million-budgeted movie.
The video is in Japanese, but you can turn on the English subtitles so you can understand what is being said. We get to see everything from Takashi Yamazaki directing the movie, to the VFX team working their magic, how the sets actually looks, and interviews with the cast and crew.
The movie recently crossed over $55 Million in total U.S. box office, making it the #3 Highest Grossing Foreign Language Film in U.S. history. It was also nominated for an Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
The movie is set in Japan 1945-1947. “After the war, Japan has been reduced to zero. Godzilla appears and plunges the country into a negative state. Against the most desperate situation in the history of Japan, how — and with whom — will Japan stand up to it?”
