Three New Photos for GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE Spotlight the New Villain and Team
We’ve got three new photos to share with you from director Gil Kenan’s Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. They feature fresh looks at the new crew, the original crew, and the villain they will be facing off with, Garraka. Garraka looks like a creepy ghostly creature, and it’s behind what is known as “the death chill.”
In the story, New York City finds itself freezing over due to an ancient artifact that unleashes an evil force! “The Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.”
Ghostbusters: Afterlife director and co-writer Jason Reitman serves as writer and executive producer on the new film. The movie also stars Patton Oswalt, Kumail Nanjiani, comedian James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind have joined the cast! They join returning cast members Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace. Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and Ernie Hudson are also back in action with Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz suiting up for some ghost-busting action.
The film is scheduled to be released on March 29th, 2024.
