Thriller Trailer for the Apple TV+ Sci-Fi Series SILO Starring Rebecca Ferguson
Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its upcoming sci-fi drama Silo. The 10-episode series is based on the best-selling book series by author Hugh Howey, and it tells the story of the last survivors of a post-apocalyptic world.
Silo is the story of the “last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences.”
The series stars Rebecca Ferguson as Juliette, “an engineer, who seeks answers about a loved one's murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don't kill you, the truth will." The truths that she uncovers promise to be shocking.
The series was created and written by Graham Yost (Band of Brothers, Justified), who also serves as showrunner. The ensemble cast of Silo also includes Common (The Chi), Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche (Dickinson), Avi Nash (The Walking Dead), David Oyelowo (Selma), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) and Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption).
Silo looks like a great and thrilling series, and it’s set to premiere on Friday, March 5th on Apple TV+.
