Thrilling Trailer for Rebecca Ferguson's Sci-Fi Mystery Series SILO Season 2
Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for the second season of its dystopian sci-fi mystery thriller Silo. The first season of this show was fantastic, and I’ve been looking forward to seeing the story continue in this next season. It looks like another thrilling and intense season!
Based on Hugh Howey’s novel series, “Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built, and those who try to find out face fatal consequences.”
Rebecca Ferguson stars in the series as Juliette, “an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.”
The trailer for the series features Juliette venturing out into the ruins of a post-apocalyptic world beyond the silo, where an uprising is brewing against their leader Bernard Holland (Tim Robbins).
The author of the series, previously shared his thoughts on Season 2 saying: "I've seen season two and it's one of the best things I've ever seen."
Ferguson teased: “Season 2 is dark. It's a bonkers exciting season. It is huge, man."
Season 2 also stars newcomer Steve Zahn, and returning actors Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen.
The series was created by Graham Yost, and the 10-episode Season 2 will premiere on November 15th
