New Trailer for Rebecca Ferguson's Sci-Fi Thriller Series SILO - "Some Mysteries Are Best Left Unsolved"
We’ve got a new trailer to share with you for the Apple TV+ sci-fi thriller drama Silo. This is a 10-episode series based on the best-selling book series written by Hugh Howey, and the story is set in a ruined and toxic future and centers on the last survivors of a post-apocalyptic world that live in a giant silo deep underground.
Silo is the story of the “last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences.”
After its sheriff breaks a cardinal rule and residents die mysteriously, engineer Juliette, who is played by Rebecca Ferguson, “seeks answers about a loved one's murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don't kill you, the truth will. She starts to uncover shocking secrets and the truth about the silo.”
This looks like an interesting series, and it was created and written by Graham Yost (Band of Brothers, Justified), who also serves as showrunner. The ensemble cast of Silo also includes Common (The Chi), Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche (Dickinson), Avi Nash (The Walking Dead), David Oyelowo (Selma), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) and Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption).
Silo looks like a great and thrilling series, and it’s set to premiere on Friday, May 5th on Apple TV+.
