TITANS Adds Negative Man to Doom Patrol
We know The Doom Patrol is coming the DC’s live-action series Titans and we’ve been getting more and more information of who will make up this group of super-powered heroes. The latest addition to The Doom Patrol is Dwain Murphy as Negative Man.
Many will know Murphy from Star Trek: Discovery. As I hear more about this series, I get more and more excited for it. The other members of The Doom Patrol that we know of so far will be Chief, Elasti-Girl, and Robotman. For those of you not familiar with Negative Man:
Introduced in 1963 in DC Comics’ My Greatest Adventure #80, the original Negative Man was Larry Trainor, a U.S. Air Force test pilot who was exposed to a radioactive field while flying an experimental jet. As a result, he’s imbued with a strange power that enables him to discharge energy from this body in the form of a shadowy silhouette referred to as the Negative Man, or the Negative Spirit, which can fly, pass through solid material, and cause objects to explode.
While DC doesn’t have the best track record with their films, their TV shows have been pretty solid overall.
