Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for A Quiet Place: Day One, and it teases the story of why our world went quiet. This is the third film in the A Quiet Place franchise, and it takes audiences back to the very beginning when the aliens first came to our planet to hunt and kill people. The trailer features some of the madness and carnage that took place when they arrived.

The movie has a strong cast that includes Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou. The movie was directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig) from a story idea by John Krasinski.

Krasinski previously said of the film, “We follow Lupita Nyong’o’s character as she navigates the horrific first moments of the alien invasion in the loudest city of the world, New York City.” New York City is definitely an interesting setting for this story.

A Quiet Place: Day One will be released in theaters on June 28th, 2024.
