Trailer For Dave Filoni's New STAR WARS Animated Series TALES OF THE JEDI
Dave Filoni has made a new Star Wars animated series titled Tales of the Jedi, and during Lucasfilm’s D23 Expo presentation, Filoni shared an awesome trailer! Yes, this is one of the trailers that they also released online, so you can check that out here!
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is a six-episode anthology series that features stories of other Jedi characters from the Star Wars universe. The stories in the series involve Ashoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and his master Count Dooku. Three episodes of the series will include Ahsoka and the other three will involve Count Dooku.
The shorts feature “parables built around Jedi from the prequel era. Journey into the lives of two distinctly different Jedi—Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku—each will be put to the test as they make choices that will define their destinies.”
I love the animated Star Wars shows that Filoni has produced with Lucasfilm. He’s such a great storyteller and this Tales of the Jedi project looks amazing! I’m so ready to watch this, and we won’t have to wait much longer before it’s released!
When previously talking about the show, Filoni said: "I thought of this adventure for Ahsoka for a long time, and it's interesting to see how it's evolved. Years ago, I never would have imagined that it was sprung from a branch of a tree that had anything to do with a guy [like] Din Djarin, or a child that looks like Yoda. It's a great lesson for me on how, when you have other creatives like Jon Favreau, they can help lend such dimension and depth to what you're doing."
All episodes will premiere on Wednesday, October 26th.
