Trailer for DC Animation's WATCHMEN: CHAPTER 2
Warner Bros. has released a trailer for DC Animation’s Watchmen: Chapter 2, the second of a two-part movie that the studio has been developing.
The two-part movie is pretty mucha shot-for-shot adaptation of the classic graphic novel created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.
In an alternate 1985 America, “costumed superheroes are part of everyday life. When one of his former comrades is murdered in his own apartment, the masked vigilante known as Rorschach uncovers a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes.
“As he reconnects with his retired associates, only one of which has true powers (Dr. Manhattan), Rorschach glimpses a far-reaching conspiracy involving their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the world's future.”
The voice cast includes Titus Welliver as Rorschach, Rick D. Wasserman as The Comedian, Katee Sackhoff as Silk Spectre II, Adrienne Barbeau as Silk Spectre I, Troy Baker as Veidt / Ozymandias, Matthew Rhys as Nite Owl, Michael Cerveris as Dr. Manhattan, and Jeffrey Combs as Moloch.
Both movies were directed by Brandon Vietti (Superman: Doomsday, The Batman, and The Brave and the Bold)
Watchmen: Chapter 2 will be released on VOD on November 26th, 2024, and then on Blu-ray starting December 3rd.
